DIPOLOG CITY, March 20 (PIA) – The Civil Service Commission (CSC) has announced the conduct of career service professional and sub-professional pencil-and-paper tests here in the city on May 27, 2012.
CSC-Zamboanga del Norte Field Office Chief Atty. Gerry N. Mayormita said the career service professional and sub-professional examinations, which shall be conducted simultaneously, are open to applicants regardless of educational attainment.
However, applicants for both levels must be Filipino citizens, at least 18 years old and of good moral character; have no criminal record or have not been convicted by final judgment of an offense or crime involving moral turpitude; have not been dishonorably discharged from military service or dismissed for cause from any civilian position in the government; and have not taken the same level of career service examination within three months from last examination taken.
For those who are interested to take said examination here in Dipolog, the deadline for submission of applications is set on April 12, 2012 and the examination fee is P500.00.
For the professional level, the scope of examination in English and Filipino includes vocabulary, grammar and correct usage, paragraph organization, reading comprehension, analogy and logic, and numerical reasoning.
Except for clerical operations, the sub-professional level also covers similar subjects to that of professional level.
CSC also added that both levels will have general questions on Philippine Constitution, Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees as contained in Republic Act 6713, peace and human rights issues and concepts as well as environment management and protection.
