City, April 16 (PIA) – At around 4:45 pm on May 15, 2012, the Communist Party
of the Philippines –New People’s Army (CCP-NPA) under the Mount Malindang
Regional Operations Command, Western Mindanao Region released PO2 Faisal Madjid
Juhaili unharmed and without any ransom.

Juhaili was released after 35 days in abduction at the Barangay Hall of
Barangay Canipaan, Bayog, Zamboanga del Sur during a short program attended by
barangay residents with some barangay
officials headed by Barangay Kagawad
Vivian Makalimlim who represented Punong
Barangay Jasmin Apao and some members of
the Juhaili family headed by Ustadz Abdul Juhaili.
It
can be recalled that on the evening of
April 9, 2012, more or less 70 NPA
rebels some posted as military personnel raided the Tigbao Municipal Police
Station, Tigbao, this province, abducted PO2 Juhaili and carted away several
firearms and ammunitions.
After
conducting background investigation on the lives of PO2 Juhaili and his assignments in different police stations
in the province by the NPA, he was cleared of any human rights violations and with
no abuse committed against the civilian populace, there and then the rebel group decided to free Juhaili unharmed.
It
was also learned that all the personal belongings of Juhaili, wallet with cash money, cellphone to include
those of his companions that were carted away during the raid were returned to
