DIPOLOG CITY, May
10 (PIA) - - The National Irrigation Administration has allocated under its CY
2012 extension project P25 million for the rehabilitation of the irrigation
system in this city.
To get the project implemented
soon, the city council here has recently passed a resolution authorizing the
city mayor to enter into a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with NIA.
The above amount
shall be used to repair/rehabilitate the irrigation canals of the Dipolog
Communal Irrigation System (DCIS), which covers around a thousand hectares of
rice land.
The MOA has to be
signed by NIA Regional Irrigation Manager Alejandro L. Alberca and Mayor Evelyn
