ZAMBOANGA CITY, 19 Feb. ( PIA 9) - - Mouth-watering Zamboangueño inspired delicacies will “fill” the food-loving public as the city government has set a Food Festival on February 23-24 at the Plaza del Pilar. as one of the highlights of “Dia de Zamboanga,” the 75th anniversary celebration of Zamboanga as a chartered city.
Claudine Uniana of the City Information Office in a press statement said the two day food fest will be participated in by five restaurants and catering service providers which will offer appetite tempting menus at an affordable price of P150 for 4-5 combo meal.
Uniana said Alavar Seafoods House; Chinitos; Rekados restaurant, Collete’s Buko Pie and Pasalubong ; and Kape Zambo will join the event.
“The appetite tempting fair is expected to draw a number of food aficionados,” Uniana shared.
“Aside from the palatable dishes, guests and patrons will also be entertained with live and acoustic music that will run 5 in the afternoon onwards,” she added.
“The food festival is a celebration of Zamboangaueños love for food,” Uniana declared. (JPA/ PIA- ZBST)
