MALANGAS, Zamboanga Sibugay – A free
lecture and hands-on training on the principles and uses of Microsoft
PowerPoint presentation has been conducted to elementary school teachers on
Feb. 5 at the Western Mindanao State University (WMSU) Malangas campus.
Elementary school heads and teachers, who are currently
partners in the Student Teachers’ internship program of WMSU-Malangas, were the
participants to the said event.
Participating schools include Candiis Elementary School
with Teacher-in-Charge Eden Abdurahman and seven teachers,
Seventh Day Adventist School with Principal Victor Palin and four teachers and
Dansulao Elementary School with Principal Nolasco Rabaca and five teachers.

Cruz spearheaded the activity which was assisted by the visiting lecturers,
Engr. Jonas Bathan and Jackie P. Galvez.
WMSU-Malangas Administrator Christine V. Yambao said
the activity’s main goal is to enhance the IT skills of the participants on the
use of the MS PowerPoint which is a commonly used program in multi-media
presentations.
She further explained that it is as well as to
strengthen the relationship between and among the cooperating schools and the
WMSU Malangas Campus. (PIA9)
