DIPOLOG CITY – Hard work really pays off.The Civil Registrar’s Office here received three outstanding awards from the National Statistics Office (NSO)-9 during the 2014 City and Municipal Civil Registrars’ Quarterly Plannin
o the city government’s implementation of the Performance Governance System (PGS) with the Institute for Solidarity Asia (ISA).
In a related development, the lady civil registrar also disclosed that the city is joining the whole nation in observing the “Civil Registration Month” pursuant to Proclamation No. 682 with the theme, “Ikaw at Ako tungo sa Wastong Pagrerehistro.”
Moreover, the city government will also be conducting the annual free wedding ceremony dubbed “Twogether Foreover” on Valentine’s Day at the 2nd Floor of the Commercial Building at the Dipolog Boulevard with Mayor Evelyn T. Uy as solemnizing officer.
There will also be a free registration of new born babies and those children who are not yet registered with the Civil Registrar’s Office on Feb. 24, 2014. (PIA9)
