DIPOLOG CITY - A total of 1,040 barangay budget officers participated in the three-day budget administration training conducted here by the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) and the League of Budget Officers, Region IX Inc.(LLBO-INC) recently.
The training was simultaneously held in three separate venues on Feb. 12 - 14 at the Top Plaza Hotel, Zamboanga del Nore Convention and Sports Center and at the second floor of Building I in Dipolog Boulevard.
Participants from Leon Postigo, Katipunan, Roxas and Labason held their training at Top Plaza while those coming from the municipalities of Pinan, Polanco, Mutia, Siayan, Jose Dalman and Siocon held it at the Zamboanga del Norte Convention and Sports and Center.
The third group which was composed of participants from the municipalities of Rizal, Sibutad, La Libertad, Sergio Osmena, Gutalac and Kalawit was holding it at the 2nd floor of Building I, Dipolog City Boulevard.
Dipolog City Mayor Evelyn Uy expressed her gratitude to the DBM for holding such seminar in the city and she hoped that the participants will apply their learning from the three-day training in handling the barangay funds.
