Statistics Office (NSO) – Zamboanga del
Sur Provincial Office
concluded a five-day workshop on 2012 Census of Agriculture & Fisheries held
last Feb. 11-15 at the Municipal Swimming Pool Function Hall in this town.

together with two team supervisors, Ariane C. Tremedal and Alaister H.
Samijon, facilitated the workshop which was attended by 31
participants/enumerators.
The said workshop was designed to train the enumerators on the
procedures and steps in the conduct of the 2013 Census of
Agriculture and Fisheries
(CAF), a nationwide undertaking geared towards the collection and compilation
of basic information on agriculture and fisheries in the country.
The census will simultaneously start throughout the country on Feb 25 to come up with an inventory of the
country’s agricultural and fishery resources which is useful in making meaningful
decisions with respect to the use of the same. (PIA9)
