ZAMBOANGA CITY, 22 Jan. (PIA) - - The Home Development Mutual Fund
(HDMF) or Pag-Ibig –Zamboanga City branch will sponsor a mass wedding dubbed “I do, I do, Araw ng Pag-IBIG,” set on
hearts’ day- February 14 - for its member-couples who wish to be married but
have no monetary means to do so, said Cora Mamauag, Chief, Marketing and
Enforcement Division, Pag-IBIG.
She said Pag-IBIG Fund would not only sponsor the wedding reception, food, souvenirs, symbolic rings and gifts for raffle draw, but would also be giving away a house and lot as its grand prize. “A house and lot for raffle draw awaits one lucky couple,” the lady marketing chief said.
Mamauag called on its member-couples to register now for the mass wedding as this is on a first-come, first-served basis.
“As of today, we already have 65 couples who registered for the mass wedding, and still counting,” Mamauag informed.
Deadline for registration is on January 25.
Mamauag said applicants to its mass wedding must be a Pag-IBIG Fund member, (either of the couple.) “If not yet a member, just register as a new member (Self Employed or Self Paying).”

Mamauag also enumerated other requirements
such as birth certificate; NSO Certificate of No Marriage (CENOMAR) for those
more than 30 years old; and Pre-Marriage Counseling certification.
