DIPOLOG CITY, May
14 (PIA) - - The Philippine National Red Cross-Zamboanga del Norte (PNRC-ZN)
chapter observed the world red cross and red crescent day last May 8 with
bloodletting and training on disaster and safety preparedness and leadership
development to youth volunteers.

Joshua Bicoy bared that some 48 bags of different blood types were collected
during the bloodletting activity.
In a related
development, a medical team from the city government here also conducted a
bloodletting activity and was able to collect 38 bags of blood for the Red Cross
blood bank.
The PNRC
continuously conducts its blood donation campaign to encourage volunteers to
donate blood to help people needing this commodity.
The blood is a
