Cotabato, May 17 - - In line with the 30th Anniversary Celebration
of the Overseas Workers Administration, the Regional Welfare Office in the
Autonomous Region of Muslim Mindanao took a break and a breath of fresh air
thru a Team Building at Punta Isla Lake Resort, Lake Sebu, South Cotabato last
May 11 to 13, 2012.
A revisit and reorientation on the Programs and Services of
OWWA was conducted to assess each employee’s understanding on the Implementing
Rules and Regulations of programs and to have consistent information
dissemination to its clients.
The team building proper started on the second day which was facilitated
by the Civil Service Commission-ARMM
Human Resource Division Chief- Sandrah Arnica M. Usman.
Activities such as draw a
castle, build a castle, scramble and conference fiasco brought out the
creativity, leadership, teamwork and competitiveness in each other.
The inputs and insights provided by the resource person had
given personnel a better appreciation of each one’s role in the organization
and develop a better working relationship and camaraderie among themselves.
The highlight of the activity was the Renewal of Commitment where
each staff was given time to pledge their commitment to themselves, to the
agency, and their goals towards a better future.
On the third Day, the group conquered their fears and joined
hands together in the 7 Falls Zipline, the highest in Asia at 700 feet and 400
feet. It served as a stress reliever where you can forget all your problems
through experiencing Nature’s Beauty while having an adrenaline rush.
