Two ABC pupils, 9th National Science Quest Champions

DIPOLOG CITY, FEB. 19(PIA)---Andres Bonifacio College continues to give Dipolognons something to be proud of.

This after two of its contestants from the Elementary Department were declared champions in their respective categories in the recently-concluded 9th National Science Quest held in Baguio City.

Ms. Maedy “Gingging”  R. Tepacia received gold medal in the Science Quiz-Grade VI category while Mr. Adcil Vic. B. Tagulo also received gold medal in the Sci-Dama (Water Polo)-Grade IV Category. Both Tepacia and Tagulo received the distinction of being the National Champions in their respective categories.

Aside from Tepacia and Tagulo, three other members of the ABC delegation also made it to the top ten. The other medalists are Anne Margarette A Cabalida, second runner-up in Science Quiz-Grade IV Category); Kei N. Matinong and Wilma Mae J. Villagracia placed 5th runners-up in the Science Quiz-Grade III Category and Science Quiz-Grade VI Category respectively.

Ms. Rothel Laranjo and Mrs. Lucille B. Tagulo, both members of ABC’s Elementary Department supervised and served as the winning formula for the winning team.

It may be recalled that Andres Bonifacio College garnered 13 medals in the Regional Science Competition held last January 6-8, 2012 in Zamboanga City, and thus, became the official representative of Region IX to the National Science Quest.
