DIPOLOG CITY - Dipolog
City Mayor EvelynT. Uy has recently issued Executive Order No. 2013-10, declaring
the month of September as “Dipolog City
Business Month.”
The
Dipolog City Business Month 2013 aims to
promote business and products of the establishments in the city and
other parts of Mindanao, provide avenue for the discussion of various micro,
small and medium enterprises, not only in Dipolog City but also in the
Zamboanga Peninsula and the rest of Mindanao
It
also aims to provide contemporary development in the field of agri-business and
environmental care protection; advocates and showcase the product champions of
Dipolog City to other MSMEs in Mindanao; and create the best avenue for
business matching to update the local business community on the status of the mining
industry all over the country in relation to EO no. 79 as well as generate
funds for the local business chamber.
Among
the activities to highlight this year’s business month celebration includes
Trade Fair and Grand Expo; DDCI General Membership Meeting and the Dipolog
Business Summit.
The
celebration is a follow-through of the previous Business Month celebrations
hosted by the Dipolog Chamber of Commerce and Industry. (PIA9)
