BAYOG, Zamboanga del Sur, July 12 (PIA) -- To attend to the health needs of its constituents particularly the barangay
folks, the local government unit of Bayog under the stewardship of Mayor
Leonardo Babasa, Jr., reached out to the
barangays to conduct medical and dental
outreach.
Some 80 residents of Barangay Sigacad, this municipality and its
neighboring barangays were given free medical checkup and medicines, and 30 others
who underwent oral examination and prophylaxes on Tuesday, June 10, 2012 at the
Barangay Hall of Sigacad.
The medical outreach was spearheaded by the Rural Health Unit led
by Dr. Gretchen A. Dubrico.
Mayor Babasa gives priority to health programs for his
constituents because he believes that health is more important than any other
things.
On the other hand, another medical and dental outreach is
scheduled on July 17, 2012. The same medical team will be at Barangay Depore in
the morning, and will proceed to Barangay Canoayan in the afternoon. (BAG-PIO
