ZAMBOANGA CITY, June 5 (PIA)- - Don Pablo Lorenzo Memorial High School gets a P10.7million newly
constructed two-storey 10-classroom building from the City government of
Zamboanga as the city turns over the school building project earlier today.
In a press statement, Vic Larato of the City
Information Office said “construction of the school building project started on
August 9, 2011 and was completed last February 20, this year with project cost
total of P10,733,066.91.”
“The inauguration of the project today augurs well
for DPLMHS barely a day after the
opening of classes for school year 2012-13, noting that the school has a big
student population of 7,000 last year,” Larato said in a press statement.
It can be recalled, last Friday, the city also
unveiled in Muslim-dominated barangay Talon-Talon, two buildings of two-storey
eight-classrooms school building to Talon -Talon National High School.
Each school building cost the city P16.5 million
Larato shared that the city is again set to
inaugurate tomorrow (Wednesday) another school building project at San jose
Gusu Elementary School.
“The city will again inaugurate a two-storey
four-classroom school building costing the local government a total amount of
