DIPOLOG CITY, JUNE 5(PIA)--- The Department of Social Welfare
and Development (DSWD) thru its field office in Zamboanga del Norte has reiterated
its warning to the public, particularly the beneficiaries of Pantawid Pamilyang
Pilipino Program (4Ps) on the text scam that is currently circulating.
Alex
Sabal, DSWD Provincial head in Zamboanga del Norte, said they have already warned
4Ps beneficiaries in the province regarding this text scam after they were alerted
by its Central Office about this.
The
text message, allegedly coming from a certain Lea Cruz states “ Congratulations,
President Noy-Noy Aquino Foundation 4Ps Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program,
your sim number won P950,000.000 as second prize winner in the Handog
Pangkabuhayan raffle promo, DTI 0154s 12.
“This
is absolutely not true. DSWD does not
hold any raffle promo or draws,” Sabal said.
The
DSWD Provincial Head urged those who will receive this text message to ignore
it and report immediately to the nearest DSWD office, call their office at
telephone no. 065-212-6265 or text to Pantawid Pamilya Grievance Test hotline
