PAGADIAN CITY, April 17 - - - The Junior Chamber International through the Greater Pagadian Inc. and Yllana Jaycees will sponsor “Sigaw sa Tag-Araw,” a unity concert featuring Battle of the Bands with the special performance of Pagadian 4 (P4).
It will be held at the Megayon Stage, Provincial Government Center, Dao, this city at 6:00 P.M. on Friday, April 20, 2012. General Admission is P50.
The activity features the special performance of Pagadian’s renowned talents like the P4 who had conducted a series of concerts for the benefit of ‘‘Sendong’’ victims in Iligan and Cagayan de Oro City. The Battle of the Bands is open to all interested groups.
Proceeds of the concert will go to the Gawad Kalinga – Lala project, Hangop Kabataan and to indigent dialysis patients of the Zamboanga del Sur Medical Center.
Major sponsors of the activity are JCI Senate National President, Governor Antonio H. Cerilles, Congresswoman Aurora Enerio-Cerilles, Mayor Ace William E. Cerilles, Congressman Mark Cojuangco, Congressman Victor J. Yu, JCI Senate Iligan, AJ Enterprises, Hotel Alindahaw, Asugas Egg House and MacDonald’s.
The concert is one of the highlights of the JCI Week Celebration on April 15-21. Activities kicked off yesterday with a Thanksgiving Mass and grand motorcade which signaled the opening of the week-long celebration. Basketball games, badminton tournament, anti-drug campaign, business forum, bloodletting, basic orientation on gun handling and fun shoot, medical outreach in Dumalinao, Zamboanga del Sur, Gawad Kalinga project, launching of dengue awareness program, tree planting and feeding of Hangop Kabataan kids.
