DIPOLOG CITY, March 2 (PIA) – Some 50 policemen with the ranks of senior police officers 1 to 4 have completed the Public Safety Senior Leadership Course (PSSLC) held here recently by the Regional Training School (RTS)-9 headed by P/Supt. Redentor Retusto.
The senior police officers participating in the training were coming from the different city/municipal police stations in Zamboanga del Norte.
PSSLC is a 12-week course designed to provide senior police officers with requisite knowledge and skills to make them effective managers/leaders.
Atty. Ruben Platon, Ph.D., president of the Philippine Public Safety College (PPSC), personally came over to serve as keynote speaker during the graduation rites. He also served as the inducting officer of PSSLC 2012 class officers.
PPSC provides career and specialized training programs for PNP personnel in order to upgrade their knowledge and skills necessary to cope with their tasks and functions.
The PSSLC 2012 class officers are SPO2 Tomas Dagondong Jr. –president, SPO2 Jesselito Campaner-vice president, SPO2 Ma. Delilah Reluya-secretary, SPO2 Ruel Imbang-treasurer, SPO1 Aldrin Caballero-auditor, SPO1 Danette Abella-PIO, and SPO1 Francisco Mansinadez and SPO1 Jerry Isaw as protocol officers.
