PNoy to visit Dipolog

DIPOLOG CITY, FEB. 5 (PIA)… President Benigno Aquino III will be here today to inaugurate the Graduate and Professional Schools Building and four pavilions of Andres Bonifacio College and to meet with the local leaders in Zamboanga del Norte.

The inauguration of the newly-constructed building is part of the 121st birth anniversary celebration of the founder of AB College, Amando B. Amatong.

President Aquino, together with Justice Secretary Leila De Lima and DILG Sec. Mar Roxas will arrive at the Dipolog airport at about 1:50 this afternoon from Davao City where the Chief Executive was said to attend the Mindanao Economic forum.

From the airport, the President and His party will motor to the AB College where he will be met by college president Sancho Amatong, together with Ernesto Amatong, the chairman of the board, Dipolog City Mayor Evelyn Uy, and Zamboanga del Norte second district representative Rosendo S. Labadlabad in front of the GPS Bldg., for the unveiling of the building’s marker and its inauguration.

The President will deliver his message after being introduced by Justice Sec. De Lima.   

From the GPS bldg., the President and Party will walk to AB College gymnasium to to with the local leaders and thousands of his supporters the province, where he is expected to renew his commitment of good governance to his “BOSSES,” the Filipino people. 

This is the first visit of President Aquino to Dipolog City since he was elected as the 15th President of the Republic of the Philippines in 2010.(FPG/ATR/PIA9-Zamboanga del Norte)
