2012 student short film competition now open to college, university students

Pagadian City, Aug 20 (PIA) – The Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) in partnership with Manila Bulletin and Abracadabra announced that the Student Short Film Competition 2012 is on.
The competition is a venue for student filmmakers to be given the opportunity to be recognized and hone their skills in the craft of filmmaking. This contest is open to all college and university students nationwide with film entries running a maximum time of twenty (20) minutes.
In addition to other prizes, winners will have the chance to be given scholarships and apprenticeships in filmmaking and will be awarded during the 38th Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) Awards Night on December 27, 2012.
Deadline for the submission of entries will be on October 25, 2012.
