DIPOLOG CITY, JUNE 19(PIA)---The Alternative Learning System
(ALS) of the Dipolog City Schools Division will hold the graduation rites for
the 2011 Accreditation and Equivalency Test passers on June 23, 2012, this
city.
Ms.
Catalina S. Barinaga, ALS Acting Supervisor of the DepEd City Schools Division said
the graduation exercises will be held on June 23, 2012 at the Covered Court of
Barangay Miputak at 9 o’clock in the morning.
Ms.
Veronica Perez, the newly-installed City Schools Division Superintendent of
Dipolog City has been invited to be the guest speaker on the said occasion.
It
may be recalled that 154 of the 404 examinees passed the A & Test conducted
last year in Dipolog City. Twenty-four (24) are for the elementary level and 130
for the secondary level. Among the passers are 24 inmates composed of 24 for
the secondary level and 10 for the elementary level.
However,
graduation rites for the inmates will be held on a separate date and venue. It will
be held at the Dipolog City Correctional and Rehabilitation Center, Upper
Dicayas, Dipolog City on June 28, 2012.
In
another development, Barinaga said acceptance of registrants for the 2012 A &
E Test is now going on, until July 31, 2012. The examination is scheduled to be
conducted in October 7 this year at the Zamboanga del Norte National Main Campus,
Estaka Dipolog City.
A
& E examinees who will pass the elementary level category are automatically
eligible to enroll in high school while secondary level passers are also
eligible to enroll in four or five-year degree course in any colleges and
