By Alma L. Tingcang

PAGADIAN CITY, May 20 - -  A Regional Stakeholders Consultation on the Transition Investment Support Plan (TISP) for the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) is slated here on May 22-23 at Ocean View Hotel.

Ms. Yasmin Busran Lao, Presidential Assistant for Muslim Concerns and National Program Manager of TISP for ARMM said the TISP is an PhP 8.59 Billion fund for programs and projects intended to fast track key development initiatives and reforms in the Region.

Ms. Lao said a critical component of this Plan is to mobilize the private sector to ensure transparency and accountability in the implementation of these programs and projects.

This 2-day activity will bring together representatives of over 60 Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), primarily to discuss their role in working with the government on the TISP.  Representatives of the various implementing agencies, at the national and regional level, have also been invited to dialogue with the CSOs.
