DIPOLOG CITY, May 4
(PIA) - - The Tripartite Industrial Peace Council (TIPC) here headed by Mayor
Evelyn T. Uy has recently launched the best worker award to give recognition to
outstanding workers in the area.
In her briefing
about this award, Ms. Angelita S. Collyer, Livelihood Skills Development
Enhancement Center (LSDEC) manager, emphasized that “the human capital is the
most important resource in any economic endeavor” thus, “the workers need to be
motivated” for them “to perform to the best of their abilities and in the best
interest of the organization.”
The search is open
for workers from the business establishments such as sales ladies/clerks,
hotels and restaurants, academe and others.
TIPC has yet to
form the committee that will be tasked to draft the mechanics and criteria for
judging.
The awarding of
winners is slated to be held in the last quarter of this year.
