DIPOLOG CITY, MACH 29(PIA)---The Zamboanga del Norte Parole and Probation Office has recently organized the Volunteer Probation Aides in the municipality of Roxas, this province.
The newly-organized Volunteer Probation Aides of Roxas, Zamboanga del Norte shall now be called Pres. M.A. Roxas Volunteer Probation Aides Association.
Elected officers of the Pres. M.A. Roxas VPA during its organizational meeting held at Farmer’s Information Technology Service in Roxas municipality last March 27, 2012 are Jesus Ademar Bagaipo as President; Rodrigo Recentes, Vice-President; Arnie Tigon, Secretary; Norberto Bagispas, Treasurer; Horacio Sumalpong, Auditor; Val Christian Dionglay, Press Relation Officer; Zosimo Tumig, Erico Laput, and Modesta Lagorra, as Business Managers.
Santillana, expressed his sincerest thanks and gratitude to the new organization as he vowed to support the new organization to make them better clients and productive members of the society.
Santillana, said Volunteer Probation Aides will be also organized in all other municipalities of the province to prepare the probationer and the community live side-by-side and become active partners in all activities that will undertaken in the community.
“This signifies the growth of the Volunteer Probation Aide Program in the municipality that played a vital role in achieving the Agency’s Mission and Vision in the locality,” Santillana said.
The Mission of the Agency is to promote human and social transformation among ourselves and among our clients, while its Vision is Model component of the Philippine Correctional System that enhances the quality of life of its clients through multi-discipline program and resources and efficient organization of highly-competent and highly-committed workforce in order to promote social justice.
Presently, the Zamboanga del Norte Provincial Parole and Probation Office is handling 132 probationers in various municipalities of the province.(ATR/PIA9-Zambo Norte)
