DIPOLOG CITY, Dec. 13 (PIA) - - In keeping with the national government’s thrust of strengthening the education sector in the country, the city government here has been complementing such endeavor.
The City Engineering Office (CEO) has reported to Mayor Evelyn Tang-Uy that it already completed the construction and repair of school buildings in the different schools within the city.
It reported to have finished the construction of an eight-classroom, two-storey school building at Galas Elementary School which amounted to P9 million, repair of two-classroom school building at Pamansalan Eco-Tech High School at Barangay Diwan with P280 thousand appropriation, construction of a perimeter fence at Jusan Butler James memorial Elementary School at Barangay Sangkol with P977 thousand allocation, and the construction of four-classroom, two-storey school building at the Special Education (SPED) center at Central Barangay with P2 million appropriation.
