DIPOLOG CITY - As part of its 9-point agenda, the provincial government of Zamboanga del Norte commits to implement more infrastructure projects in 2014.

In an interview with the local media, Provincial Engineering Office (PEO) head, Engr. Renato Ajero said Governor Roberto Y. Uy wants to implement more infrastructure projects this year, even going to the remotest barangays of the province that need infrastructures.

Among these projects include concreting of Dapdap-Bandera in Polanco to Sinaman, Dipolog City with an allocation of P16.2 million, Mabunao-Nangka, Rizal with P5.4 million, Putongan-Marapong-Libay in Sibutad with P16.2 million, national highway-New Dapitan in Gutalac with P5.4-million and continuation of La Libertad-Dampalan road.

The PEO also vows to address the other infrastructure needs of the people like covered courts, slope repair, perimeter fence, slope protection and many more.

Ajero pointed out that the implementation of more infrastructure projects manifests the commitment of the Uy administration to remove Zamboanga del Norte from the roster of the poorest provinces in the country.
