DIPOLOG CITY - Newly elected Zamboanga del Norte
Vice Governor Senen O. Angeles has appealed to all officials and employees of
the provincial government to support the administration of Governor Roberto Y.
Uy.
This
was the gist of the message of Vice Governor Angeles to provincial employees
during the second flag raising ceremony last Monday.
The
Vice Governor said the task of the newly elected officials of the province, more
particularly Governor Uy, is not easy considering the problems confronting the
new administration with the provincial coffers “almost bankrupt.”
Governor
Uy has reportedly inherited huge unsettled financial obligations from previous
administration whose passion for loans seemed insatiable.
He
also underscored the value of cooperating and working for the achievement of
the province’s development as envisioned by the new administration.
Angeles
also clarified that the direction of the new administration is to deliver the
basic services to its constituents, which to him “could only be made possible
with the cooperation and support from all sectors.”
Board
member Ronillo Lee, on the other hand, also said that each one has to
distinguish “what is good and bad in public service,” and “to always think of
the good and welfare of the greater majority.”
In
the same occasion, Acmad Macaindig, the new head of the Provincial Human
Resource Development Office, presented the four newly-appointed officials of
the provincial government, namely: Engr. Rey Hamoy, as Provincial
Administrator; Mr. Lorenzo Aseniero, Executive Assistant IV; Ms. Imelda Endab,
Executive Assistant IV; and Ryan Victor Miranda, Private Secretary.(PIA9)
