ZamboSur PPO has new OIC

By Alma L. Tingcang

PAGADIAN CITY - -  The Zamboanga del Sur Parole and Probation Office (ZSPPO) No. 1, a line agency of the Department of Justice  which covers 17 municipalities of Zamboanga del Sur has a new Officer-In-Charge in the person of Supervising Probation Officer  Nicasio D. Dujali.

Mr. Eddie L. Baldado, Information Officer of ZSPPO said before assuming his new post, Dujali was formerly assigned in Sulu Parole and Probation Office with sub-office in Bongao, Tawi-Tawi. His new assignment is seen as a big advantage to the clients of the province composed of probationers, parolees and pardonees. “He is soft-hearted and highly competent for the position and his commitment to public service has been tried and tested,” Baldado said.

“I welcome my new assignment with open arms for I consider this as an avenue of meeting new faces and interacting with people from all walks of life. Besides, I am willing to walk the extra mile even to remote places where the service of a parole and probation officer is greatly needed,” Dujali said in an interview.

The new OIC says his primary concern is to enhance the correction and rehabilitation of offenders by providing them personalized community-based treatment for their eventual reformation and re-integration to mainstream society.

OIC Dujali is also the acting regional psychologist of the Parole and Probation Administration – IX. (ALT/PIA9 Zambo Sur)
