DIPOLOG CITY, JULY
6(PIA)---The
Technical Education and Skills Development Authority is scheduled to conduct
its annual TVET Competency Assessment and Certification during the month of
July and August this year. This will be done from July 9 to 20 and from August
20 to31, 2012.
Unlike
the normal process wherein TESDA collects P700.00 registration fee, this time,
the registration for NATCAC is free.
NATCAC
is given free of charge to skilled workers, workers of the government and
private establishments, returning Overseas Filipino Workers, assessors and
trainors of the different schools in Zamboanga del Norte.
Qualifications/trade
area for NATCAC includes Driving NC II; Driving NC III; Electrical installation
and Maintenance NC II; Electrical Installation NC III; Visual Graphics NC III;
2D Animation NC III; Housekeeping NC III; Bread and Pastry Production NC II;
Events Management NC III; Food and Beverage NV III; SMAW NC III; RAC Servicing
NC II; Food Processing NC II; Aquaculture NC II; Horticulture NC II; Animal
Production NC II; and Agri-Crop Production NC II.
The
TESDA Assessment and Certification Program will test the skills of a worker. After
passing the assessment, an applicant will be given a TESDA National Certificate
which is now one of the requirements for employment here and abroad.
