ZAMBOANGA CITY, June 6 (PIA)- - San Jose Gusu
Elementary School is a proud recipient of a school building project as it
formally received this morning a P3.2 million 2-storey 4-classrom building from
the city government.
The school building is the
forth in a row turned over by the city in a span of two weeks.
City
Information Officer (IO) Sheila Covarrubias said, “the newly constructed school
building project is the 4th project to be unveiled by the city in two
weeks time as the present city administration hopes to help improve the
student-classroom ratio in public schools in the city.”
“Yesterday,
the city government unveiled and turned over the P10.7 million 2-storey 10
classroom building at the Don Pablo Lorenzo Memorial High School while two
school buildings—a 2-storey 8 classroom each—all amounting to P16.59 million
were inaugurated last Friday at the Talon-talon National High School,”
Covarrubias informed.
Covarrubias
emphasized, with utmost concern of improving the quality of education here in
the city and to ensure a better future for the youth, the present local government
