ZAMBOANGA CITY, 20 Feb. ( PIA 9) - - The City Police Office through Police Regional Director Chief Supt. Nathaniel Estilles recently received a new 4x4 jeep and computer sets from the city government as the latter’s show of aggressive support and assistance to the police and other law enformcent agencies primarily aimed at sustaining peace and security.
The 4x4 jeep is intended for the use of barangay Curuan police Sub-station while the computers sets will be florated to Divisoria and Curuan police stations respectively.
City Police Director Sr. Supt. Edwin de Ocampo said the donated vehicle is of great help to the police forces in Curuan as this will help improve mobility in responding to calls for assistance and the computer sets will hasten other functions of the police force.
It can be recalled, the city turned over 28 handheld radio sets worth P250,000 last December to the city police office for the use of the different police units to strengthen their communication capability in the performance of their functions.
PNP Reg’l Director Estilles expressed gratitude to the assistance extended and vowed to ensure that the police force will exert best efforts to effectively and efficiently serve the constituents. (JPA/ PIA- ZBST)
