Bayog, Zamboanga del Sur , Feb. 22 (PIA) – The local government unit of Bayog hosted the Zamboanga del Sur 2nd Mobile Conference 2B for the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) implementers held at the Glupa Gulian Agro-Tourism Park, Sitio Quibranza, barangay Kahayagan, this municipality on Febraury 20, 2012.
The mobile conference was attended by some 58 participants coming from the municipalities of Tukuran, Labangan, Dumalinao, Tigbao, Guipos, Lakewood, Kumalarang, Bayog and Pagadian City.
Mayor Leonardo Babasa, Jr. warmly welcomed the participants thru his Executive Assistant Virgilio Zamora who with great pride introduced the venue as the future famous Agro- tourism spot in the country.
Matters taken up during the conference were the presentation of accomplishment reports, updates on the system, Compliance Verification System (CVS) and grievances, provincial concerns and other matters related to the program. They also took time to discuss other activities such as the convergence program and the Self Employment Assistance para sa Kaunlaran (SEA-K).
The activity was also attended by personnel from the Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office-IX based in Pagadian City headed by Social Welfare Officer II Pacita Aso together with Raiza Palarca, Neriza Baldelovar and Jude Mark Bataoel. (BAG/PIA-9/CAL)
