DIPOLOG CITY, NOV. 7 (PIA) - - In line with the Universal Health
Care Program of the Aquino Administration, the Philippine Health Insurance
Corporation recently launched the Philhealth MOVES in Dipolog City.
Mobile
Orientation, Validation and Enrollment Scheme or MOVES aims to inform, guide
and empowers Philhealth members, particularly the Sponsored Program members
identified through National Household Targeting System of the Department of
Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
The
launching of the Program was held at the Dipolog Coliseum in Oligan, Dipolog
with Dipolog City Mayor Evelyn Uy as its guest speaker.
In
her message, the City Chief Executive reiterated her commitment of support to
the program as she cited various programs implemented by the City Government to
uplift the quality of life of the Dipolognons.
One
of the activities was the ceremonial distribution of the Philhealth
Indentification Cards to Sponsored Program members.
Mr.
Florencio Luyao, Jr., said Philhealth Zamboanga del Norte Provincial office personnel
will be going around the different municipalities of the province during the
whole month of November to conduct similar Philhealth MOVES information
dissemination campaign.
Luyao
said, as per record, “Zamboanga del Norte has more or less 91,327 Sponsored
Program enrollees making the province rank one (among the provinces) to have
