By Miriam Fe E. Jacinto

PAGADIAN CITY, July 3 - - - The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) has cautioned the public that there are field sales representatives going house to house and selling “MR. WIN” laundry detergent bars. To attract buyers, these sales representatives say that upon purchase of MR. WIN detergent, the buyer is entitled to claim “FREE” TIDE BARS laundry detergent from Puregold through its Tindahan ni Aling Puring.

DTI Provincial Director Ma. Socorro Malate-Atay said Procter and Gamble, makers of Tide bar categorically stated that they are not in any way involved in this sales promotion and they do not have any knowledge of this activity. Further, Procter and Gamble has no connection in any manner with the manufacturer of MR. WIN products. Consumers are therefore advised not to patronize these unscrupulous individuals.
