DIPOLOG CITY, March 6 (PIA) – Two young professionals from this city are now off to Japan to join the Japan East Asia Network for Students and Youths (JENSYS) program.
After submitting themselves to a rigid selection process conducted by the national selection board composed of representatives from the Department of Tourism (DOT) and the Brunei-Indonesia-Malaysia-Philippines-East Asian Growth Area (BIMP-EAGA), Roldan Realiza and Consuelo Locop have been chosen to complete the six Filipino-delegates to JENSYS program in Japan.
Realiza is connected with the Provincial Tourism Office (PTO) of the Zamboanga del Norte provincial government while Locop is the manager of the Gloria Fantasyland Travel and Tours in Dapitan City.
It was also learned that they would be joining other delegates from Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia and Philippines in exploring and studying Japan’s culture and tradition as well as establishing a linkage between and among the delegates to promote business and tourism in the region.
