by Franklin P. Gumapon

DIPOLOG CITY, March 21 (PIA) - - Personnel from the City Population Management and Development Office (CPMDO), City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) and the City Health Office (CHO) are now conducting family development sessions in the different barangays of the city targeting the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4P) beneficiaries.

These family sessions, which started last March, will continue until September this year, discussing topics ranging from responsible parenting, family planning to personal hygiene and sanitation.

The city government headed by Mayor Evelyn T. Uy aims to help improve the living condition of the poor sector in the city by giving them proper guide and ways in raising their respective families.

Under the 4P or conditional cash transfer (CCT) program, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) is extending cash grants for the education and health needs of children aged 0-14 years old. A maximum of three children per family will each receive a monthly cash subsidy of P300 per month. (FPG/PIA-Zamboanga del Norte)
