PCDC holds tree-planting, operation linis at Aborlan

ISABELA CITY, Basilan, Feb 27 (PIA) – A successful tree planting and operation linis activities were done through the convergence of efforts and resources of 408th (PAL) Community Defense Center (PCDC) in coordination with the local government units of Aborlan, Palawan last February 8, 2012 at barangay Barake and at the Municipal Health Office of Aborlan, Palawan, respectively.

The participants of the said activities are officers and enlisted personnel from the 408th (PAL) Community Defense Center, Members of 1st Palawan Ready Reserve Battalion (RRBn), officers and personnel of Aborlan Municipal Health Office, Barangay Officials and residents of Brgy. Barake, Aborlan, Palawan.

The said activities were in line with the Armed Forces of the Philippines’ Internal Peace and Security Plan “Bayanihan” as the involvement of all stakeholders was realized and attained. United efforts from the local government units and all sectors of the community will surely benefit the local populace which will eventually pave the way for the ultimate goal of a sustainable peace and development.
  
Moreover, WESCOM Commander LTGEN JUANCHO M SABBAN AFP expressed that the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) will always be committed in reaching out to community undertakings to attain good quality health condition of the populace and ensure a green environment. (6CRGAFP/RVC-PIA9 ZBST)
