DAR to conduct orientation on Web-based Legal Case Monitoring System

ZAMBOANGA CITY, February 23 - - - The Department of Agrarian Reform Region IX will conduct an Orientation on Web-Based Legal Case Monitoring System (LCMS) in preparation for its nationwide implementation. This will be held on February 28-29, 2012 at Dakak Park and Beach Resort, Dapitan City. Participants to this activity are the Regional Director, Regional and Provincial Chief Legal Officers, Regional and Provincial Adjudicators, Provincial Agrarian Reform Officers, selected clerks from the Legal Divisions and Provincial Agrarian Reform Adjudication Offices.

According to the DAR IX Regional Director Julita A. Ragandang, the Web-Based Legal Case Monitoring System aims to facilitate the provision of legal services and the generation of reports. She further stressed that this is an effective mechanism to closely track the progress of cases including the processing of DAR clearances and referral matters.

The orientation will be facilitated by the DAR Central Office Team from the Management Information Service with the assistance of personnel from the DAR Regional Office specifically from the Information and Education Division. (MSCR/DAR9/PIA9-ALT)
