DIPOLOG CITY, Oct. 10 (PIA) -- Fifty five policemen from the two cities of Dipolog and Dapitan and the 25 municipalities of Zamboanga del Norte have recently completed the Public Safety Junior Leadership Course (PSJLC) conducted by the Philippine Public Safety College Regional Training Center 9-Annex of the Philippine National Police (PNP).
A news release issued by the City Information Office (CIO) said the training was held at the Zamboanga del Norte Police Provincial Office (ZNPPO) at Camp Hamac, Sicayab this city.
It was also learned that the participants to the PSJLC were police officers with the rank of Police Officer 3 (PO3). The training ran for four and a half months.
A simple graduation ceremony was held at the function hall of the Top Pensionne along Quezon ave., this city with Regional Training Director PSupt. Redentor Retusto, Assistant Regional Training Director PSI Alejandro Trabdillo and Mayor Evelyn T. Uy in attendance.
Special awards like leadership award, academic award and firearm proficiency award were also given to deserving trainees during the closing rites. (JPA/FPG/PIA-Zambo. Norte)
