Zam Norte to host 2012 ATOP National Convention

DIPOLOG CITY, Oct.10 (PIA)--- Zamboanga del Norte will be the host of the 2012 Association of Tourism Officers of the Philippines (ATOP)National Convention scheduled to held in Dipolog City next year.
Zamboanga del Norte won over Butuan City, in the bidding conducted during the recently-concluded 12th ATOP National Convention of ATOP held at Roxas City, Capiz
The province was represented by Atty. Patrick Ang, together with Zamboanga del Norte Second District Board Member Atty. Allan Ranillo; Zamboanga del Norte Provincial Tourism Council Chairman Atty. Flint Concha; La Libertad Mayor Anja Sulit-Manglag; Roxas Vice-Mayor Leonor Alberto, councilors and Tourism Officers and Department of Tourism-9 Regional Director June Bugante.
Atty. Ang, who is also the concurrent ATOP Executive Vice-President said the 2012 ATOP National Convention will serve as an opportune time for the Zamboanga del Norte to promote among the Tourism Officers of the country the tourist attractions in the province.
More than 1,000 tourism officers and municipal and councilors who are chairmen of the Committee on Tourism from all over the country are expected to attend the said ATOP gathering. (JPA/ATR/PIA9-Zambo Norte)
